Sweet Fezzy Memories

It is Memorial Day in the United States. After tending to several fraternal plots in our local town, we took a moment to add five new finds for our fez enthusiasts.

First, we have a new Odd Fellows lodge fez added to the IOOF exhibit.

Next is a new AMOS fez from the interregnum “volcano emblem” period, now on display in the Odd Fellows Social Bodies area.

The Shriners exhibit has also been updated with a very small Abou Saad Shrine fez.

A rare addition to the collection is a Women of Woodcraft fez, now featured in the Woodmen of the World section.

Last but not least is a previously difficult-to-identify fez from the Junior Order of American Mechanics’ affiliated side degree, the Order of the Orient.
